The Navway has a large 4.3" LCD touchscreen display for clarity of vision and ease of use. All of the functions are at your fingertips, there are no buttons to obscure your view, and with just a couple of taps of the screen you’re on your way.

User friendly displays

Relax and enjoy your journey with the help of the Navway Street Navigator’s simple screens and menus. There’s no need to be a gadget-whiz to operate the Navway, the screens are laid out in an obvious manner which makes getting the most out of your Navway a simple and pleasurable experience. You can even change the information displayed on your screens to suit your needs.

When on the road, you have the choice of viewing your maps in three modes - arrow, 2D or 3D. However you choose to see the maps the Navway will always present visual cues, such as street signs information, to help you on your way.

An on screen compass view is also available giving visual confirmation of current direction of travel, latitude and longitude information as well as current speed.

Spoken instructions and audio prompts

In addition to the detailed visual cues, the Navway will give you clear and precise voice directions to accurately guide you to your destination. With advanced text-to-speech technology, your Navway will even read you the street names so you can focus on the road. An audible alert will also sound when approaching red light and fixed speed camera locations to give you enough time to check your speed.

Key building and entrance information

The Navway features key city building name and entrance information from the Melway, Sydway and Brisway street directories. Simply type in the name of the building you need to locate and the Navway will display all of the key entrances, from which you can select the most appropriate destination for your journey, whether the delivery bay for a parcel drop off or the front entrance for a meeting.

Points-of-Interest

Whether you need a petrol station, post offices or any one of thousands of other points of interest, it is all at your fingertips with the Navway. All this information is pre-loaded onto your Navway. The Navway allows you to search for points-of-interest closest to your current location or near where you are headed.

Safety First

Hands-free Bluetooth Phone Connection

With the Navway, you are now completely hands free if you have a compatible Bluetooth phone. You can make and receive calls by using the simple touch screen interface. There is no need for a separate hands free car kit; it’s all there in the Navway.

Ultra-Fast Route Calculation and Automatic Re-routing

Route calculation is very fast, allowing you to be on your way quickly and easily. If you happen to miss a turn, Navway’s intelligent route calculation will quickly recalculate your route up to twice as fast as other popular navigational units to keep you on your way with its clear and accurate voice directions.

Stay on your way

Unlike some other units, if you happen to lose GPS signal for any reason (such an entering a tunnel), Navway will display the next turn information (including distance and road name) so that you will always know what your next move will be.

Routing Options

Want to minimise time or distance travelled? With Navway’s route options you can choose from the fastest, shortest or most economical route. Tollways can be easily avoided along with ferries by simply adjusting the route settings within Navway.

Navway allows for your mode of transport, be it foot, bicycle or car. It will automatically adjust things like estimated time of arrival and time remaining, as well as route you the most appropriate way.

Click-n-Go Active Cradle

The Navway Street Navigator is completely portable; its light, slimline design means you can take it with you wherever you go. The Click-n-Go Active Cradle allows you to click it into the car mount without having to reconnect any cables – so you’re on your way quickly and easily. The Click-n-Go Active Cradle does not require professional installation, so you can easily transfer it between cars. And you’re not just limited to in-car use; being lightweight the Navway is an ideal navigation solution for people on the move.

Plan your day

With the Navway, you can plan your day before you set out. Simply pre-select the locations you want to visit. Preview the calculated route; select your route options (like avoiding toll roads, the fastest route, shortest distance, etc.) and you’re on your way. If one of your appointments has been cancelled, simply delete the destination from your route list, and Navway will automatically recalculate the destination to your next call.

Favourite Addresses

If you are on the road doing business, you will know that time is money. Not only does the Navway help you avoid the stress of getting lost and being late for your appointment it also saves you repeating yourself. The favourite address facility allows you to create a list of frequently used addresses to quickly select that destination again and again.

Trip Information

While on route to your destination, the screen displays a wealth of information. The current road, as well as the distance to the next manoeuvre is displayed on the top line of the screen. While on the bottom, the total travel distance and time remaining, as well as a handy estimated time of arrival display to give you an idea of when you will arrive. Navway also features a handy inbuilt trip computer giving you valuable information about your journey such as maximum speed, average speed, distance travelled and travel time.

Set your preferences

There are many option settings you can use to personalise your Navway. You can even set the Navway to find your preferred petrol station by brand! Other features include; automatic day / night settings, metric or imperial units of measure, 12 or 24 hour clock, powersave mode, fast retrieval category and standard or telephone keyboard layout.

Fast retrieval of your favourite Points-of-Interest.

You can set a specific POI category for one touch operation. Choose from frequently accessed options such as petrol stations, car parks or hotels. By using the menu you can navigate straight to your favourite POI category without having to navigate the extensive POI list every time. Just another way Navway adapts to your busy lifestyle.

MP3 Player

Not only is the Navway a complete solution for your navigation needs but it’s also very entertaining! You can store your favourite MP3’s on an SD or MMC card and manage your playlist through Navway’s music library. Listen to your favourite music while on the go through your Navway’s built in quality speaker or the supplied headphones.

Picture Viewer

You can also use your Navway as a portable photo album. It will even let you view a slide show of your favourite pictures, product shots, real-estate photos and so on. You can view pictures stored on an SD card.
